A61 Appointed Persons Lifting Operations

A61

The Appointed Person course is aimed for the person responsible for generating lift plans, this individual has the overall control of lifting operations on site.

Venue: Walsall, WS8 7DL
Duration: 5 Days
Cost: £850 + VAT pp
This is a classroom based course therefore dedicated courses can be arranged at our clients premises if preferred.

Dedicated Course: £5,800 + VAT
Delegate number: Maximum of 8
*if you have 8 delegates in attendance this works out at only £725 + VAT pp


Mandatory pre course requirements:

  • All delegates due to attend this course must have a high level of experience surrounding lifting operations within the construction industry.
  • It is a mandatory CPCS/NOCN course requirement that all delegates have passed the computer based CITB HS&E Managers test within the last two years prior to attending this course

CITB Test grant - £250 (Theory £60 / practical £190)

A62 Crane Supervisor Novice

The Crane Supervisor course is aimed at the person responsible for supervising lifting activity on site, they would be following the lift plan prepared by the Appointed Person.

Duration: 3 Days
Cost: £945 + VAT pp

Mandatory pre course requirements: It is a mandatory CPCS/NOCN course requirement that all delegates have passed the computer based CITB HS&E Supervisors test within the last two years prior to attending this course.

A40 Slinger Signaller (All Duties) Novice

A slinger is the person who works with the crane (and lifting machinery) to attach and detach the load, direct its operation and movement. Slingers use hand signals and/or radio links to communicate with crane operators, direct them, and ensure that loads are moved safely.
